AIR INDUCTION
In 1997 I built what I
believe was the first Ram Air Induction System on a C5
Corvette.
After 6 changes in Ram Air boxes, I believe we offer the
finest cold air system available. Our present system consists
of a cast acrylic box 3/16" thick in your choice of glossy
red, glossy black, or custom painted colors, over an American
made K&N Filter-charger. Our system includes a lower air scoop
which is open in the rear to allow air to feed into the air
filter and allow water to flow harmlessly out the back through
the radiator. We know of no other system on the market that
can make this claim. Our system comes with a solid 1/4" plexi-glass template which is screwed into position to allow
accurate cutting of the hole for the air scoop rather than a
thin cardboard sheet. When removed the template leaves
pre-threaded holes to install the air scoop. Our easy access
air box removes by simply removing two Philips screws,
allowing total access to the filter in under a minute. There
is no need to remove the entire assembly to examine the air
filter. We believe that this system is not only the easiest to
install and maintain, but the most solid and safest for your
C5. Our guarantee is simple...if you don't feel that this is
